Vice President/Investments- Stifel
After graduating from Birmingham-Southern College in 2004, Mitchell returned home to Montgomery to pursue a career in Wealth Management. As a Financial Advisor at Stifel, Mitchell has over 13 years of experience in the financial services business.
Other current philanthropic involvement includes: River Region United Way Board of Directors and Member of the Finance Committee at ChristChurchXP where he and his family are members. Mitchell has also served in the past as Chairman of Britton YMCA Board of Directors, Chairman of YMCA Boys’ Work Committee, Member of Childrens’ Hospital Committee for the Future and as a Member of the Sav-A-Life Board of Directors.
Mitchell is married to Mandy and they have 2 children: Elise (6) and Mitchell, Jr (3). Together with his family, Mitchell resides in Montgomery, AL where he enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf and anything else outdoors.
2nd Vice President-Zack Camerio
Born and raised in Montgomery, Zack graduated high school from Saint James School in 2005. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Auburn University Montgomery in 2010.
Zack currently works at the Alabama Supreme Court and State Law Library where he has gained over ten years of experience in legislative and legal resources.
Ingrained with a deep love for the River Region, Zack is passionate about community involvement. In addition to the Montgomery Lion’s Club, he is also serving on the Children’s Center Adult Program Board of Directors. His past involvement includes: Montgomery Bicycle Club, Ability Sport Network at Huntingdon College and Cycling for Sight for Lion’s Club.
Zack and his wife, Mallory, have one beautiful daughter: Isabelle (9 months). Together they reside in Montgomery where Zack enjoys cycling, Auburn football, and spending time with friends and family.
Immediate Past President-Jason Walker
Jason Walker was born and raised in Hueytown, Alabama the youngest of four sons of a Southern Baptist preacher and a schoolteacher. Jason graduated from Hueytown High School, home of the Golden Gophers.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Auburn University in 1994 and he is a U.S. Marine veteran.
After graduation from Auburn, Jason went to work for Pate Landscape Company, Inc. in Montgomery. Jason has been with Pate Landscape since 1994 and is currently the Vice President of the company. Jason has managed several major projects for Pate including irrigation and landscape installation at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of Alabama, the Wind Creek Hotel and Casino in Wetumpka, as well as projects at Eglin AFB, Ft. Benning, and Maxwell, AFB.
Jason’s professional licenses and certifications include EPA Water Sense Partner, Certified Irrigation Contractor, and Alabama Pesticide Applicator. His community involvement includes Past President of the Montgomery Nurserymans Association, United Way Community Council, Montgomery Auburn Club Board of Directors, and Montgomery Lions Club Board of Directors.
Jason and his wife, Montgomery County Commissioner Ronda Walker, have four children, Hugh, Grant, Eli, and Margaret Jane. Jason enjoys running, Auburn football, and spending time with friends and family at Lake Martin.
1st Vice President-Chad Bryan
Chad received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English from the University of Alabama in 2000, followed by a law degree from the University of Alabama in 2003.
Upon graduation, Chad moved to Montgomery to accept employment with the law firm of Capell & Howard, P.C. Now a shareholder in the firm, Chad generally focuses his practice on defending lawsuits involving personal injury and wrongful death claims.
Chad enjoys spending time with his wife, Krystal. They stay busy with their daughters, Savannah Grace (4) and Leslie Claire (3).
Lions Club members will be interested to know that Chad grew up in the same rural Coffee County community that produced our own Clinton Carter.
Treasurer-W. Michael Shaw
Michael was born and raised here in the River Region. Upon graduating from Auburn Montgomery in 2007, he immediately went to work in public accounting and passed the CPA examination. Soon thereafter, he married his college sweetheart, Tesa. Tesa is also an Auburn Montgomery graduate and is currently a school teacher in Montgomery.
Michael and Tesa have two children, William and Mary Wallace. The family of four currently lives in Pike Road and are members of First Baptist Church of Montgomery.
