Alisa Beck, a native of Alabama, has called Montgomery home since graduating with a Fine Arts Degree from Huntingdon College in 1994. She spent six years as the Executive Secretary for the Montgomery Art Guild, immersing herself in the local art scene. Sponsored by Winsor & Newton, Arches, and Liquitex, Alisa traveled across five states, teaching her unique palette knife technique and promoting their products. Dedicated to her craft, she has continually pursued education under various master artists. She provides mentorship and classes for adults in various painting mediums and techniques.
While nurturing her passion for art, Alisa also built a career as a commercial insurance agent with Steinhilber and Strawbridge. This dual career path reflects her versatility and commitment to both professional and artistic growth. Her work is represented by Stonehenge Gallery in Montgomery, AL and Jeanie Edwards Fine Art in Highlands, NC.
Alisa currently resides in Montgomery with her husband Bill and their two children, Olivia and Levi.
2nd Vice President-Jason Heuermann
Jason is originally from a small beach town on the tip of Long Island, NY called Montauk, which is well known for a shark caught off its coast that became the inspiration for the movie Jaws. Jason graduated from SUNY (State University of NY) Cortland with a dual degree in history and secondary education. After teaching for a few years, he moved to NYC to be with his future wife, Montgomery native Martha Ellen Hill, and entered corporate sales.
Jason and his wife moved back to Alabama in 2011, in Auburn, then moved back to her hometown in 2017. They have one son, Will, who attends his mom’s alma mater, the Saint James School. Will’s grandfather, esteemed lawyer Billy Hill, is a former Montgomery Lions Club president, which he has belonged to for over 50 years. Jason works for the technology company Canon U.S.A., where he sells office equipment and software solutions.
Jason has, over the years, coached several sports teams, including some with the Montgomery YMCA. Besides him, Martha Ellen and Will, they have two other family members with a tad more fur, a cocker spaniel named Lola and an orange tabby cat named after Will’s favorite food, Cheeze-it. Jason and his family belong to the Church of the Ascension in the garden district of Montgomery. In his spare time, Jason loves watching all types of sports, especially basketball and football, and playing sports like golf, basketball, and others, while also travelling with his family.
1st Vice President-Lewis Tillery
Lewis Tillery is a Georgia native who now lives in Wetumpka with his wife Nicki and they have three adult children and six grandchildren. He attended Gordon Military College as well as Auburn University.
He worked his entire adult life in the highway construction industry until retiring in 2018. After retiring, he began working part time with the Community College System of Alabama to help promote Workforce Development.
He attends Mulder Church and enjoys tending his property in both Alabama and Georgia.
Treasurer-Laura Dickey
Laura Dickey has been in the financial industry for 20 plus years and serves as VP, Branch Manager, at River Bank & Trust Downtown. She is married to Brent and they have two children: Anna (19) and Andrew (12). Laura was born in Montgomery and graduated from Troy University. She is a member of Frazer Church and River Region Kappa Delta Alumnae.
